Josep Carner

Josep Carner i Puigoriol (Catalan pronunciation: [ʒuˈzɛp kəɾˈne]; Barcelona 9 February 1884 – Brussels 4 June 1970), was a Catalan poet, journalist, playwright and translator. He was also known as the Prince of Catalan Poets. He was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature seven times.
